An English language Greek news*** tells of three men who robbed a Rolex store inAthens yesterday. The gang posed as customers, then one man produced a gun whilethe other two stuffed their pockets with fistfuls of Rolexes. The three discriminatingthieves took off on foot, however the shopkeeper hastily enlisted the assistanceof a pedestrian who bravely pursued one of the men. Fortunately for our hero, hepicked one of the two thieves who had Rolexes in his pocket rather than the one withthe gun, so instead of getting shot, the poor guy had Rolex watches thrown at him.The ploy worked, and all three thieves managed to escape. (Something tells me if it were Timex watches getting lobbed through the air, at least one of these guys would be in custody right now.)
